Iran has warned that ports and some cities in the United Arab Emirates used as “launch points” for attacks on Iran could be targeted, urging residents to evacuate those areas.

A spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said civilians should stay away from ports, docks and locations linked to U.S. military activity in the UAE to avoid potential harm.

The warning comes as tensions escalate across the Gulf amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel.

Meanwhile, the UAE Ministry of Defence said its air defence systems intercepted nine ballistic missiles and 33 drones launched from Iran today.

Authorities said the incoming projectiles were successfully neutralised, with no immediate reports of casualties from the latest wave of attacks. (Newswire)
