Parliament Secretary General Kushani Rohanadeera has instructed the Commissioner General of Prisons to make arrangements for Member of Parliament (MP) Namal Rajapaksa to attend parliamentary sittings, according to The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) media unit.
The move follows a request made by Namal on Monday (7) seeking the necessary facilities to attend Parliament during the upcoming sittings.
Accordingly, Namal is expected to attend Parliament on Tuesday (8).
Parliament is scheduled to meet from Tuesday (8) through Friday (11). (Newswire)
