Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya was welcomed by Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay upon her arrival at Paro International Airport on Monday, Aug. 31.
Amarasuriya is in Bhutan to participate in the inaugural Global Conscious Food Systems Summit, being held from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4.
She is scheduled to address the summit’s opening plenary on Tuesday and hold bilateral discussions with the Bhutanese Prime Minister during her visit. (Newswire)
