One person was killed and six others were injured after a Land Rover Defender collided head-on with a lorry in the Wellamadama area of Matara this afternoon (19), according to Police.
The Defender was completely destroyed in the impact, while the injured have been admitted to hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
