A former Senior Deputy Inspector General (SDIG) of Police, Ravi Seneviratne, was arrested on the night of October 28 for causing a collision with multiple vehicles on Marine Drive while driving under the influence of alcohol.
“Former Senior retired DIG Ravi Seneviratne arrested by Wellawatta Police for drunk driving & colliding against three other vehicles on Marine Drive last night” Police said.
