A 15-year-old girl has died after falling from the upper floor of a three-storey house in the Grandpass area of Colombo.
According to Police, the incident occurred on Tuesday (27) evening at a house on Layards Broadway in Grandpass.
The girl, a resident of Grandpass, sustained serious injuries in the fall and was admitted to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, where she later succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the fall have not yet been established.
The Grandpass Police have launched further investigations into the incident. (Newswire)
