The 24 accused in the Easter Sunday terrorist attack case, facing a total of 23,270 charges, have filed their written submissions before the Colombo Permanent Trial‑at‑Bar High Court.
Following the submissions, the three‑judge bench announced that the verdict will be delivered on September 22.
The case is being heard before Justices Navaratne Marasinghe, Ramanadan Kannan, and Sujeewa Nishshanka.
The Attorney General filed the case against the group, which includes Naufar Maulavi, holding them accountable for their alleged involvement in the 2019 attacks. (Newswire)
