
Gold prices in Sri Lanka’s local market rose again today (25) compared to yesterday.
According to market data, the price of a 24‑carat gold sovereign, which stood at Rs. 385,000 yesterday, increased by Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 393,000 today.
Similarly, the price of a 22‑carat gold sovereign rose from Rs. 354,200 yesterday to Rs. 361,500 today.
Gold prices in the local market have been gradually declining amid the Middle East crisis, with a notable drop recorded yesterday, before rising today amid ongoing global market fluctuations, according to recent reports. (Newswire)
