The Department of Posts has announced an increase in postal charges, effective from Monday (February 9).
Accordingly, the minimum postal rate will be raised to Rs. 70, the department said, noting that the revised tariff structure will come into force with immediate effect.
Officials said the decision was taken as part of a broader revision of postal service charges, though no further details on additional rate changes were immediately disclosed.
