SLPP Political Bureau member and Jaffna District Organizer G. Cassilingham met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Foreign Affairs Department In-Charge Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.
Following the meeting, Cassilingham said the discussions focused on strengthening ties between the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and the BJP.
“It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale at the BJP Headquarters in New Delhi. We had a productive discussion on strengthening ties between the SLPP and the BJP. We look forward to building on this engagement and deepening the longstanding friendship between Sri Lanka and India,” he said in a post on X.
Cassilingham also thanked BJP National General Secretary Prof. (Dr.) Aseervatham Achary for the hospitality extended during his visit to the BJP headquarters, expressing hope for continued engagement between the two parties. (Newswire)
