NESCAFÉ celebrates International Coffee Day with a special Rs. 1 coffee initiative across 240+ Perera & Sons outlets. NESCAFÉ, one of the world’s most loved coffee brands, celebrated International Coffee Day this year by taking a special step to appreciate the millions of coffee lovers who have made NESCAFÉ a part of their everyday lives. Enjoyed in more than 180 countries around the world, NESCAFÉ has been part of Sri Lankan coffee culture for decades. Recognizing that coffee is more than just a beverage but a feeling, a moment and a connection; NESCAFÉ created a special International Coffee Day celebration for Sri Lankan consumers.

On October 1, from 6.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., consumers were able to enjoy a cup of NESCAFÉ for just Rs. 1 at more than 240 Perera & Sons outlets across the country. The five-hour initiative saw an overwhelming response, with more than 115,000 NESCAFÉ lovers being appreciated through the special offer. The initiative was built around the thought “ONE CUP. Sharing More Than 100 Million Feelings,” reflecting the many emotions, conversations and everyday moments that are shared over a cup of coffee.

To bring the celebration to consumers across the country, NESCAFÉ activated the initiative through a 360-degree campaign, combining on-ground visibility and consumer engagement at participating Perera & Sons outlets with digital amplification through paid and owned media, influencers and community platforms. The celebration was further extended through leading newspapers, radio and television, allowing NESCAFÉ to share its International Coffee Day message with coffee lovers across Sri Lanka.

However, beyond the numbers and campaign reach, it was the response from Sri Lankan consumers that truly brought the celebration to life. Social media was filled with consumers sharing their experiences and moments from celebrating International Coffee Day with NESCAFÉ, demonstrating the enduring connection between the brand and its consumers. For NESCAFÉ, the celebration was ultimately about giving back to the people who have made the brand part of their daily lives, one cup at a time.

  • More than 115,000 cups.
  • More than 240 outlets.
  • Five hours.
  • Countless feelings shared over a cup of NESCAFÉ

This International Coffee Day, NESCAFÉ raised a cup to every Sri Lankan who continues to make coffee a part of their everyday moments.
