Fulfilling a longstanding request by South Eastern University, the family of late Minister M.H.M. Ashraff has donated his house and land in Oluvil, Ampara to the University.
The late Minister, founder of the SLMC and NUA, played a key role in establishing the university. His son, Aman Ashraff, officially handed over the title deeds to Acting Vice Chancellor U.L. Majeed at a ceremony at the South Eastern University premises. (Newswire)
