The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Mass Media have deposited Rs. 120,877,000 into government revenue following the public auction of 60 decommissioned vehicles.

According to the ministry, the auction included 53 vehicles sold as general-use vehicles and seven sold as scrap. Prior to the sale, the scrapped vehicles were deregistered.

The auctioned fleet consisted of cars, three-wheelers, and motorcycles that had been deemed unusable.

The ministry said it plans to auction 18 more vehicles—petrol vehicles with engine capacities exceeding 1,800 cc and diesel vehicles over 2,300 cc—once approval is granted by Ministry of Finance. (Newswire)
