Former Sri Lanka cricket captain Sanath Jayasuriya officially launched the Dongcheng Hand Tools range in Sri Lanka at the BMICH in Colombo on Friday.

Dongcheng, Asia’s No. 1 power tools brand, expanded its product portfolio in Sri Lanka with the introduction of its new hand tools range through Deen Brothers (DBL).

The range was unveiled during the Construct Exhibition 2026, with Jayasuriya officially launching the products in the presence of DBL and Dongcheng representatives, industry stakeholders and visitors.

Established in 1940, Deen Brothers has been a leading supplier of industrial tools and equipment in Sri Lanka for over 80 years. The company was incorporated as a limited liability entity in 1982 and has since expanded its portfolio across a wide range of industrial and consumer products.

DBL’s offerings include power tools, woodworking equipment, water pumps, concrete cutting machines, generators, agricultural equipment, lawn and garden products, construction products, general hand tools, spare parts and accessories.

The launch marks another milestone in the DBL–Dongcheng partnership as the companies continue to strengthen their professional tools offering in the Sri Lankan market. (Newswire)
