
Sri Lanka has improved its standing in Transparency International’s Global Corruption Index 2025, moving up from rank 121 to 107 out of 182 countries.
The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) is the most widely used global corruption ranking in the world. It measures how corrupt each country’s public sector is perceived to be, according to experts and businesspeople.
Per the latest report, Sri Lanka has moved from last year’s position of 121 with a score of 32 to 107 with a score of 35 in 2025.
Transparency International reports a score change of +3 since 2024.
