Sri Lanka’s Representative-designate to the State of Palestine M. F. Mohamed Fawzer officially assumed duties on Tuesday (06) at the Representative Office of Sri Lanka in Ramallah.
Addressing staff following the assumption of duties, Fawzer stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Palestine in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
He also highlighted the need to enhance services provided to the Sri Lankan community living in Palestine.
Fawzer also expressed appreciation to the office staff for their dedication and commitment during the recent challenging period in Palestine. (Newswire)
