A suspect who allegedly stole a passenger’s bag at the Pettah bus stand was swiftly apprehended by members of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) after being identified through the CCTV monitoring system at the New Operations Building.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday (23), was captured on surveillance cameras.
SLAF personnel on duty acted immediately upon spotting the theft, identified the suspect, and moved in to detain him.
The suspect was subsequently handed over to the Sri Lanka Police for further investigation. (Newswire)
