Sri Lanka batter Kusal Mendis has undergone emergency surgery in Dubai after being diagnosed with bladder stones, sources said on Friday
Mendis, who was taking part in the ongoing ILT20 tournament, required immediate medical intervention and is currently recovering following the procedure.
As a result, he will miss the remainder of the ILT20 season. His franchise is expected to make a replacement announcement in due course.
