Police say a sudden fire broke out, spreading across two stores located on Bandaranaike Mawatha in Ratnapura this morning.
To control the blaze, units from the Fire Services Department, the military, and other emergency teams were deployed, and the fire was brought under control to a certain extent.
The cause of the fire has not yet been identified, and the Ratnapura Police have launched further investigations. (Newswire)
