Dollar rate today: Selling rate increases to Rs. 322

The Sri Lankan rupee has depreciated against the US dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (28), compared to Monday, with the selling rate increasing to Rs. 322 in some banks. 

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have increased from Rs. 314.90 to Rs. 315.15 and from Rs. 321.65 to Rs. 321.90, respectively.

At NDB Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 314.50 and Rs. 321, respectively.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 314.93 to Rs. 315.33, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 321.88 to Rs. 322. 28.

Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 313.30 to Rs. 313.79 and from Rs. 321.75 to Rs. 322.25, respectively.

At Sampath Bank, the buying rate and selling rate have increased from Rs. 315.25 to Rs. 315.50 and from Rs. 321.75 to Rs. 322. (Newswire)
