A suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of SLPP Local Council candidate Dan Priyasad. The arrest was made in Kurunduwatta, Colombo, police said.
According to police, the 52-year-old suspect is believed to be the gunman responsible for Priyasad’s killing. He is also reportedly linked to the murder of Priyasad’s brother.
