A suspected associate linked to organised crime, known as “Raju” and identified as the brother of “Karandeniya Sudda,” is to be brought to Sri Lanka from India on Friday (17).
He is expected to arrive in the country on an Air India flight on Friday afternoon.
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have already travelled to India to facilitate his transfer, it was reported.
The suspect was arrested at New Delhi Airport while allegedly attempting to flee to another country. (Newswire)
