Dollar rate today : Selling rate steady at Rs. 314

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (09 March) compared to last Friday, with the selling rate steady at Rs. 314.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have increased from Rs. 308.25 to Rs. 309.05 and from Rs. 313 to Rs. 313.80, respectively.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 308.25 to Rs. 308.75, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 314.75 to Rs. 315.25.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 307.67 to Rs. 307.92, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 314.45 to Rs. 314.71.

Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 306.35 and Rs. 314.75, respectively. 

At Sampath Bank, the buying rate has reduced from Rs. 308 to Rs. 307.75, and the selling rate from Rs. 314.50 to Rs. 314.25. (Newswire)
