Pakistan Navy ships PNS Taimur and PNS Aslat arrived at the Port of Colombo on a goodwill visit on 12 April 2026.
The visiting vessels were welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions.
PNS Taimur is commanded by Captain Niamat Saeed Khan, while PNS Aslat is under the command of Captain Nadir Mateen Afridi.
During the visit, the ships are scheduled to participate in the bilateral naval exercise “LION STAR V” with the Sri Lanka Navy in the seas off Colombo. (Newswire)
