A 31-year-old woman was arrested with a large stock of narcotics during a raid conducted in the Boralesgamuwa area on the morning of February 5, police said.
Officers of the Western Province North Crime Division carried out the raid at a temporary residence within a housing complex along Nirmala Mawatha. During the operation, police seized 17 kilograms of hashish and 400 grams of kush drugs in the suspect’s possession.
Further investigations revealed that the woman, a resident of Boralesgamuwa, was also wanted under four outstanding arrest warrants. The Western Province North Crime Division is continuing investigations. (Newswire)
