Crude oil prices have risen in global markets amid heightened tensions over Iran, following a warning by U.S. President Donald Trump that Washington would launch an economic war against Iran and moves by the United Arab Emirates to suspend commercial activities with Iran.

According to foreign media reports, the price of a barrel of Brent crude has risen to around $94, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude has increased to around $87 a barrel.

The rise comes amid growing concerns over potential disruptions to regional trade and energy supplies linked to the developments involving Iran. (Newswire)
