The fifth and sixth reviews of Sri Lanka under the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Extended Fund Facility (EFF) are scheduled to be presented to the IMF Executive Board on May 27 for evaluation.

The Board will closely examine Sri Lanka’s economic progress to date and the success of its financial reform programme.

Once the review is approved by the IMF Executive Board, Sri Lanka will have access to about US$700 million in financing, according to the IMF. (NewsWire)
