Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Kabir Hashim has been appointed as the Chairman of the party for 2026.
The appointment was made by Opposition Leader and SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa on April 10.
Kabir Hashim is a senior member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and has previously held ministerial positions, including as Minister of Highways and Road Development.
The appointment comes as the party looks to strengthen its organisational structure ahead of upcoming political developments. (Newswire)
