The Walana Central Anti‑Vice Strike Force raided nine brothels operating under the guise of massage centers in the Thalawathugoda area, it was reported.

According to media reports, 43 individuals including 34 women were arrested during the raid.

A special team from the Mount Lavinia Divisional Crime Investigation Unit raided two brothels operating under the guise of massage centres in the Ratmalana and Mount Lavinia junction areas on Tuesday night (28).

During the raids, police arrested six suspects — a 46-year-old male manager from Mount Lavinia, a female manager, and four women aged between 30 and 51 from Ampara, Valaichchenai, Medirigiriya, and Ratmalana.

Six foreign women were arrested following a raid conducted on a brothel operated under the guise of an Ayurvedic Spa in Wellawatte.

Based on a tip-off, the Police had raided the brothel located on Station Road in Wellawatte last night.

The arrested women are between the ages of 30 and 40, and are all foreign nationals.

Two brothels operated under the guise of Ayurvedic Spas have been raided on Beach Road and near Maliban Junction in Mount Lavinia.

Five women have been arrested following the raids conducted by the Mount Lavinia Police based on a tip-off.

The arrested women are aged between 24 and 43 years, while they are residents of Matale, Yakkalamulla, Mawanella, Benthara, and Panadura areas.

Several arrests have been made following a raid conducted on a brothel that was operated under the guise of an Ayurvedic Spa in Mount Lavinia.

The Police stated that the raids were conducted by officers of the Mount Lavinia Crimes Investigation Division yesterday.

Three women were arrested from one brothel, while a man and two women were arrested from the other.

Four suspects have been arrested following a raid conducted on a brothel operated under the guise of an Ayurvedic Spa in Ratmalana.

The Police stated that the raid was conducted last evening by the Mount Lavinia Crimes Investigations Unit based on a tip-off.

The four suspects include a male manager of the brothel and three women who had aided its services.

The suspects are a 40-year-old man from Welimada, and three women aged 19,  20, and 26 years who are residents of Kalutara and Polpitihigama.

Eight suspects have been arrested following a raid conducted on a brothel operated under the guise of an Ayurvedic Spa in Ratmalana. 

The Police stated that the brothel was raided yesterday by officers attached to the Mount Lavinia Division Crimes Investigation Unit based on a tip-off.

The suspects, 08 women, included the suspected manager of the brothel and the women who had aided its services. 

The arrested group includes women aged between 24 – 53 years and residents of Panadura, Padaviya, Narampanawa, Parantha, Ketabulawa, Thambuththegama, Wanathawilluwa, and Elpitiya.

Five women have been arrested following a raid conducted on a brothel operated under the guise of a massage centre on Galle Road. 

The suspects, including the manager of the brothel, were arrested by the Colpetty Police yesterday (24). 

The Police revealed that the brothel had been managed by a 56-year-old woman who is a resident of Galle, while four other women had also been arrested on charges of prostitution.

The suspects are a 46-year-old woman from Henegama Willimbula, a 27-year-old from Pitipana, Homagama, a 44-year-old from Dehiattakandiya, and a 38-year-old woman from Thummodara.
