The death toll in Lebanon and Iran has continued to rise as the regional conflict escalates, with authorities reporting more than 3,100 fatalities across both countries.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least 1,238 people have been killed in Israeli strikes since March 2, including 124 children. The latest figure marks an increase from 1,189 deaths reported a day earlier, as bombardments continue across southern Lebanon and other areas.

Meanwhile, at least 1,900 people have been killed in attacks across Iran since February 28, according to figures reported by the Iranian Red Crescent. The casualties come amid ongoing strikes linked to the widening Middle East conflict.

Earlier estimates from international agencies and media reports indicated that the humanitarian toll across the region has continued to grow, with thousands killed and millions displaced since the conflict intensified late February.  (Newswire)
