Indika Upul Gunasekera, the National Peeople’s Power Chairman of the Ganga Ihala Korale Pradeshiya Sabha, was released on personal bail of Rs. 300,000 today following his arrest over an alleged assault.
He was produced before the Gampola Magistrate’s Court, which scheduled the next hearing for February 5, 2026. (Newswire)
