The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) is to file action against Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody over allegations of misappropriation of funds during his tenure at the Fertiliser Corporation in 2015, the Sunday Times reported.
According to the newspaper, the case will be filed in the High Court against the minister and two others on charges of misappropriating Rs. 8 million.
Mr. Jayakody had served as the head of the tender board that awarded the contract which later came under investigation. (Newswire)
