Sri Lankan MP Archchuna has claimed he could face arrest upon returning to Sri Lanka following a controversial speech in which he openly expressed support for the LTTE and defended its ideology.
Speaking at an event in India, Archchuna said he expected to be “compulsorily arrested” upon arriving in Sri Lanka, claiming his remarks and references to the late LTTE leader could lead to legal action under Sri Lankan law.
