The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for high winds and rough seas for the sea areas off the coasts extending from Puttalam to Pottuvil via Colombo, Galle and Hambantota today.
According to the department, the advisory is effective until 05.30 am tomorrow (20 May).
The Naval and fishing communities have been requested to be vigilant in this regard. (Newswire)
