The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for warm weather in the Northern, North-Central, and Eastern provinces and the Monaragala, Hambantota, and Ratnapura districts, valid for tomorrow (02).
According to the advisory, ‘Caution level’ heat alerts have been issued to 13 districts.
The Met Department warns that the heat index, the temperature felt on the human body is likely to increase up to ‘Caution level’ at some places in the said provinces and districts during the daytime. (Newswire)
