Dollar rate today : Marginal depreciation across major banks

The Sri Lankan Rupee has shown overall slight depreciation against the US Dollar across major commercial banks today compared to Monday.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has decreased from Rs. 306.65 to Rs. 306.2 while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 311.65 to Rs. 312.7

At NDB Bank too, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 306 and Rs. 312.5.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate increased slightly from Rs. 305.74 to Rs. 305.84 while the selling rate dropped from Rs. 312.48 Rs. 312.37.

Meanwhile at Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar increased from Rs. 303.86 to Rs. 304.11 while the selling rate increased from Rs. 312.25 to Rs. 312.50.

According to Sampath Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar increased from Rs. 306 to Rs. 306.25 while the selling rate increased from 312.50 to Rs. 312.50 (Newswire)
