Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa says Sri Lanka has valuable lessons to learn from China’s economic reforms and development model, praising the country’s commitment to modernization, innovation and implementation.
In a message marking the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Premadasa said China’s reform and opening-up policies had transformed the country into a global economic and technological powerhouse while promoting shared prosperity.
He added that peaceful cooperation between China and India would be vital for regional and global progress, while reaffirming his commitment to strengthening ties between the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and the CPC. (Newswire)
