Today’s Dollar Rate: USD selling rate increases slightly

The Sri Lankan Rupee depreciated slightly against the US Dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (29), compared to Wednesday, with the selling rate remaining below Rs. 340 in most banks.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar remains unchanged at Rs. 321.75, while the selling rate is also unchanged at Rs. 335.50.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has decreased from Rs. 325 to Rs. 323.50, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 334 to Rs. 332.50.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 322.56 to Rs. 324.53, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 331.69 to Rs. 333.72.

Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 320.99 to Rs. 322.48 and from Rs. 333 to Rs. 334.50, respectively.

At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates remain unchanged at Rs. 324.5 and Rs. 333.5, respectively. (Newswire)
