Sri Lanka Customs has exceeded Rs. 1 trillion in revenue during the first six months of 2025, according to Customs spokesperson Sivali Arukgoda.
Speaking at a media briefing held in Colombo today (July 3), Arukgoda said the department is now well-positioned to surpass the government’s annual revenue target of Rs. 2.115 trillion.
“As of now, Customs revenue has already crossed the Rs. 1 trillion mark, and we still have six more months to go. We are confident that we will surpass the full-year target set by the government,” he said. (Newswire)
