A bag containing Rs. 35 million has been stolen outside a state bank in Horana, the Police said.
According to the Police, the money had been brought out of the state bank to be deposited at another bank.
The Police said that as the money was brought outside the state bank, an individual had stolen the bag and fled the area.
The incident was reported at around 3.00 pm today (03).
The Horana Police have launched investigations into the incident. (Newswire)
