The Thalangama Metro Bus Depot was officially opened on Friday (4) as part of efforts to strengthen Sri Lanka’s public transport network.
Deputy Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development Prasanna Gunasena attended the opening, along with the Secretary to the President, ministry officials and representatives of Lanka Metro Transit (Pvt) Ltd.
The new depot is expected to expand the company’s operational capacity and support the provision of safer, more reliable and efficient bus services. (Newswire)
