One passenger died and several others were injured when a Singapore Airlines flight from London’s Heathrow Airport to Singapore encountered severe turbulence in the air.
In a ‘X’ post Singapore Airlines confirmed the fatality and several injuries onboard the Boeing 777-300ER. The aircraft was diverted to Bangkok and made an emergency landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Several media outlets in Thailand reported that at least 30 passengers were injured.
