Polestar (Lanka) Garments Ltd, a subsidiary of Lianfa China, has signed an agreement with the Board of Investment (BOI) of Sri Lanka for an investment of US$5.08 million.
The company will establish a garment manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka targeting the export market. According to the BOI, the project is expected to generate 679 employment opportunities.
Lianfa China is a public company with a reported turnover of US$1 billion and has over 60 years of experience in textile manufacturing. (Newswire)
