The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned Houthi missile attacks targeting the Mecca and Medina regions of Saudi Arabia, expressing full solidarity with the Kingdom.
In a statement issued on October 25, the organisation denounced the attacks, describing them as a serious violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, MWL Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa condemned the attacks and reaffirmed the organisation’s support for Saudi Arabia in protecting its territory, civilians and religious sites.
Saudi reports indicated that missile debris had fallen in several locations, including areas near Mecca, Jeddah, Taif and Rabigh.
The Muslim World League expressed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia and supported measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security and stability.
The condemnation follows reports of Houthi missile activity targeting western Saudi Arabia, raising security concerns around the country’s holy cities. (Newswire)
