Indian Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan arrives in Sri Lanka

Indian Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan has arrived in Sri Lanka on a two-day official visit, together with a 49-member delegation.

The delegation arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake today (19) on an Indian Air Force flight INDIA-01.

They were received by Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage and several other ministers at the VIP terminal of the airport, according to reports.

The Vice President will remain in the country until tomorrow (20). During the visit, he is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, as part of ongoing high-level diplomatic engagement between Sri Lanka and India.

He is also expected to attend several events and meet political and community leaders. (NewsWire)
