Sri Lanka Police have revealed that efforts are underway to repatriate more than 20 individuals who fled abroad after committing crimes in the country.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Buddhika Manatunga stated that the suspects are currently residing in countries including Dubai, India, and Canada, and that arrangements to bring them back are already in progress.
He also mentioned that, in recent weeks, several underworld criminals have already been brought back from overseas. (Newswire)
