Former Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe is recovering following a successful surgery in Singapore, the United National Party (UNP) said.
Issuing a statement, UNP Chairman Vajira Abeywardena stated that Wickremesinghe remains under medical supervision at the hospital for several more days.
Noting that Wickremesinghe’s birthday falls on March 24, he expressed gratitude to UNP supporters across the nation, marking the occasion with religious observances. (Newswire)
