
The Sri Lankan Rupee appreciated further today (22) against the US Dollar, with commercial banks lowering the selling rate to Rs. 340 from Rs. 350 this morning.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar further reduced from Rs. 342.75 to Rs. 329.25 and from Rs. 354.75 to Rs. 347, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have further decreased from Rs. 341 to Rs. 330 and from Rs. 351 to Rs. 340, respectively.
People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced further from Rs. 343.95 to Rs. 330.06, while the selling rate has also further decreased from Rs. 354.24 to Rs. 340.11.
Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates have reduced from Rs. 343.09 to Rs. 331.42 and from Rs. 354.25 to Rs. 342.50, respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have decreased further from Rs. 343.50 to Rs. 331.50 and from Rs. 352.50 to Rs. 340.50. (Newswire)
