The price of a cup of milk tea will be reduced by Rs. 10 starting January 16, following the reduction in the price of imported milk powder, the All Island Canteen Owners’ Association said.
The price revision comes after the Ministry of Trade announced a reduction in the prices of imported milk powder, effective from January 16.
Accordingly, the price of 1kg packs of imported milk powder has been reduced by Rs. 125, while 400g packs have been reduced by Rs. 50.
Canteen owners said the milk tea price reduction will be implemented islandwide in line with the revised milk powder prices. (Newswire)
