3.6-magnitude tremor reported off Sri Lanka’s northeast coast

An earth tremor measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale was reported in the sea area between Mullaitivu and Trincomalee, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said on Saturday.
The bureau said the tremor occurred offshore and confirmed that no tsunami warning has been issued.
